Recycle Your Old Tech

 At Lima Computer, we believe in keeping technology out of landfills and putting it to good use whenever possible. If you have old, unwanted, or broken desktops, laptops, tablets, or phones, we’ll gladly take them off your hands. Whether your device still works or not, we’ll make sure it’s handled responsibly, securely, and sustainably. 

We accept most consumer electronics, including:

• Desktop computers and towers
• Laptops (Windows, Mac, and Chromebooks) 
• Tablets and iPads 
• Smartphones and cell phones 
• Keyboards, mice, and small computer accessories 
• Cables, chargers, and power supplies 
• Monitors (LCD/LED – no CRTs, please)
   

If you’re not sure whether we can take your item, just contact us first — we’ll be happy to help.

Depending on the condition, devices are:

• Refurbished and reused to help those in need or for parts recycling.
• Safely dismantled for responsible material recovery. 
• Data wiped or destroyed for your security before any reuse or recycling.
   

Your personal information is never stored or shared, and we make sure every device is handled with care.

1. Bring your items to our shop during regular business hours.
2. We’ll inspect and sort them for reuse or recycling.
3. You’ll receive a thank-you confirmation for contributing to a cleaner environment.
    

There’s no charge for standard electronics recycling — just stop by and drop off your old tech!

 We cannot accept loose or removed laptop batteries, as they are considered a biohazard and require special handling.
However, batteries left inside laptops are accepted for recycling.

If you have loose batteries to dispose of, please take them to Battery Warehouse in Lima — they accept most types of batteries free of charge.
