At Lima Computer, our team of experts specializes in PC and Mac repairs, virus removal and cleanup, and printer services. We offer diagnosis and estimates for any necessary repairs. Your personal files will always be safe and backed up as needed.
In-shop repairs are $45.00 plus any parts needed. We also offer On-Site service calls for the Lima, OH area at $90.00 for the first hour.
PLEASE NOTE:
If the computer is CUSTOM BUILT by a third party (like IBUYPower or other builders) or by you, the customer the in-shop flat fee repair is $75.00 plus any parts needed. We do not do On-Site service on CUSTOM BUILT COMPUTERS. Please see below.
Printer repairs for On-Site service is $110.00 for the first hour + parts if needed. In-Shop repairs are $75.00 flat fee + parts if needed.
If you decide not to have the printer repaired our estimate is $45.00 for our time of disassembling and reassembling for In-Shop.

If you decide not to proceed with any repairs, we do charge a diagnostic fee of $20.00 to cover the time and resources spent evaluating and diagnosing your computer issue. This fee ensures that we can continue to provide top-notch service to our customers."

"Yes, we understand the need to dispose of old or non-working computers and flat-screen monitors. We are happy to take them off your hands at no cost to you. We will even provide a pickup service for your convenience. However, please note that these items will not be accepted in trade for the $20 diagnosis fee for the computer service. The fee will still need to be paid separately."
Abandoned Item Policy
Purpose:
The purpose of this policy is to ensure the timely collection of items by customers and to provide a clear protocol for handling items that remain unclaimed beyond the stipulated timeframe.
Policy Statement:
Items left with LIMA COMPUTER that are not collected within the allocated timeframe will be considered abandoned and will be processed as per the guidelines detailed in this policy.
Notification of Completion:
Upon completion of service or repair, LIMA COMPUTER will notify the customer via [ phone, email, or text message]. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that they provide accurate and reachable contact information.
Collection Timeframe:
Customers are expected to collect their items within 10 days of being notified of the completion of service.
Abandonment:
Items not collected within 10 days from the notification date will be considered abandoned.
Final Reminder:
If the item is not collected within 10 days, a final reminder will be sent to the customer via [ phone, email, or text message]. . The customer will have [ "3 additional days"] from the date of the final reminder to collect their item.
Disposition of Abandoned Items:
If the item remains unclaimed after the final reminder period, LIMA COMPUTER reserves the right to:
- Sell the item to recover costs.
- Dispose of the item.
- Donate the item to a charity of our choice.
Liability:
LIMA COMPUTER shall not be liable for any damage, loss, or data loss occurring to abandoned items. By leaving their item beyond the stipulated collection period, customers forfeit any claim or right to the abandoned item.
Exemptions:
In unique circumstances, if a customer anticipates a delay in collecting their item, they must communicate with LIMA COMPUTOR'S management before the end of the 10-day period to make special arrangements.
